How do I install the RadClips?
It does depend on the style but generally speaking:
Step One:
Separate the clips-in into their groups ( 4 clips, 3 clips, 2 clips, and 1 clip - to note the difference, count the number of clips on each track).
Step Two:
The clip-ins need to be loosened before applying to your hair - using your fingers, gently separate the curls until you’re happy with their look, the curls should not be static or too clumped up together.
*It is normal to have some shedding when loosening and finger combing the curls.
* This does not apply to the RadClip 02 - Kinky Pressed (Blow out).
Step Three:
Part your hair where you would like to apply the clip-ins. This can be done on loose hair or on cornrows.
We do recommend applying the 4 & 3 tracks towards the back of the hair as a bigger circumference and the 1 & 2 clips towards the front of the hair.
Feel free to cut the tracks to change the number of clip-ins you have to suit your hairstyle preference or head circumference.
Step Four:
Place the clip-ins in as desired towards the root of the hair, and secure by closing the clips.
Step Five:
For a seamless blend, enhance your own natural curls using any styling product and gently finger-comb your hair with the clip-ins until the result is as desired.
Step Six:
Rock to Perfection.
Should I style them before or after installing them?
We recommend you prep the hair before installing and this involves gently finger combing the hair to release its natural luster and as for styling, it is best done once secured in the hair, so you can style for a seamless blend.
Can I braid my hair underneath and then clip the RadClips on my cornrows or does my hair need to be in an Afro?
This is the beauty of the RadClips, they are versatile enough to work with both options.
Can I use my hair products on the extensions?
If you’re referring to styling products such as creams or light sprays then this should be fine but as a synthetic hair product, we don’t recommend applying heat to them as they could melt.
Can I wash the clip-ins?
Absolutely! We advise that you dampen the RadClips before applying a gentle shampoo to them and rinsing thoroughly but leaving them to air dry as opposed to using heat on them.
Can I re-curl them after use?
Our current range of clip-ins can’t be curled back after the curls have been opened.
How many hairpieces do I need to cover my head?
One packet is enough to cover your entire head.
How many pieces come in one pack?
12 pieces of:
2x 10 inches 4 clips
3x 6.5 inches 3 clips
3x 4 inches 2 clips
4x 1.5 inch 1 clip
How long is it when stretched out?
You can refer to the length of hair on the product page.
Can I sleep with it?
You can do it as they are super lightweight but we wouldn’t recommend it - to avoid any tugging whilst you sleep or any tangling with your hair due to friction.
What is the longevity of the RadClips?
2-3 months if worn daily.
How do I choose my hair texture?
It does depend on what you’re looking for in a hairstyle! However:
• For length but with an afro 4C hair, RadClips 04.
• For volume but with afro 4C hair, RadClips 03.
• For a blowout look with type 3- 4 hair, RadClips 02.
• For added curl volume, length with type 3B-C hair, RadClips 01.
Is there a perfect texture match?
An exact texture match will always be difficult due to the complexity and variance of the type 3-4 hair generally but we have worked so hard over the past few years to create a texture match as close as possible to the range of curls we all have. As a general guide: the more you open the curls on your clip-ins, the fluffier and less defined they will become. The least you open them, the more defined the curls will be.
What is the color of the hair?
We currently have 2 shades - black matching hair color 1/1B and ombre with a 4 at the root and 27 brown-blonde finish.
Can the hair be dyed/bleached?
As it’s synthetic we wouldn’t recommend bleaching or dyeing the hair in order not to ruin it.
My hair has different curl textures - how do I best choose a texture match?
Not to worry, most people experience more than one curl pattern in their hair - as a guide, opt for the texture that is the majority of your hair.
As well, you can change completely your look by opting for RadClips different from your texture, you can install them with minimal to no leave-out.
Can I swim and exercise with hair extensions?
Absolutely but like your natural hair, post-care is certainly needed to rinse out the sweat and saltwater! A shampoo and even conditioner to soften the hair are optional.
What if I find that the hair is not a match and want to change or get a refund?

My curls don’t match what is advertised?
Not to worry! Each RadClip comes brand new from our warehouse and so the curls haven’t been given the life they deserve just yet. We recommend that you loosen the curls first with your fingers and run your fingers from root to end a few times before installing.
As well, you can change completely your look by opting for RadClips different from your texture, you can install them with minimal to no leave-out.
Can I wear my hair in a ponytail with the clips?
You can definitely create a ponytail with the RadClips. This style would suit better RadClips 01, RadClips 02, RadClips 03.
